Quick breakfast

Breakfast holds significant importance as the first meal of the day. Amidst our bustling lifestyles, mornings often find us rushing to various commitments, whether it’s commuting to work or starting our tasks from home. In the case of remote work, there’s often a tendency to postpone breakfast under the assumption that there will be time later. However, prioritizing breakfast can have numerous benefits, including reducing hunger pangs and providing sustained energy, enabling us to tackle our work with greater focus and vigor from the outset.

To make life easy these quick breakfast menus will save you time and also with little prep and minimum time spent you can have a hearty meal.

1. Overnight oats

2. Egg bites

3. Cucumber sandwich.

4. Idly and chutney

1. Overnight Oats:

Add oats, chia seeds, blueberries or strawberries fruit of your choice and any nut butter in a mason jar. Add milk of your choice till all the ingredients are completely soaked. Do this overnight and keep it in the fridge. If you are used to eating cold just take it out from the refrigerator and eat. If not warm it in the microwave and then eat

2. Egg bites

These are the ones you get in Starbucks. In a bowl break the eggs eight of them. Beat it well, and add vegetables like cut onion, bell pepper, and broccoli, add salt and pepper to the mixture as per your taste.

Use muffin tins, grease them, and pour the mixture leaving ¼ inch at the top, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted comes clean.

Store the muffins in a container, and refrigerate them, It can be a quick breakfast on those days when you don’t have time to make one.

3. Cucumber sandwich:

This can be made in 2 ways as follows

Cut cucumber in circles, make mint chutney or you can use your store-bought one. Toast the bread and apply mint chutney and tomato sauce generously on the toast. Keep the cucumber slices.

Grate cucumber and mix it with cheese spread add salt to taste and mix the mixture. Toast the bread and apply the above spread.

4. Idly and chutney:

Idly batter can be homemade and can also be bought in Indian stores. The recipe I can share in one of the blogs. There are Idly molds available in shops. Pour the batter and steam cook.

Chutney can be made along with it. Add coconut, chilies, roasted Bengal garam, and coriander. Grind the whole thing with a blender. Season it with oil and mustard.

5. Egg and Toast:

Beat the eggs in the bowl and add milk, salt, pepper, fried onion pepper( optional) to mix it well. Heat the pan and add butter when it heats up. Put the ingredients in the bowl into the pan stir it well, and split it into small pieces while turning it till it’s completely cooked.

Toast the bread using clarified butter.

6. Smoothies:

Take fruits of your choice like apples, bananas, berries, mango, etc. Add to the blender. Add protein powder or nut butter of your choice and milk of your choice and blend to smooth paste.
